Kentucky: Murray High School Baseball Secures Section 1 Title

In Paducah, Murray High School’s baseball team delivered a championship performance on April 4, defeating rival Paducah Tilghman 4-1 to claim the Kentucky 2A Section 1 title. Avery Starks and Liam Ryan each drove in two runs with clutch hitting, while the Tigers’ pitching staff dominated, allowing just one run and shutting down Tilghman’s offense all afternoon. The victory punched Murray’s ticket to the state tournament.
